Seagulls & Waves Cyanotype Sashiko Panel.
No transfer step-Just follow the dashed lines!
A cyanotype is a photographic print in white on a blue background made usually on paper or cloth which is light-sensitized with potassium ferricyanide and ferric salt. A permanent print can be made by layering opaque objects (leaves, lace, paper, drawings made on transparencies) over the sensitized material and exposing it to the sun or a UV light source.
PLEASE NOTE: The stitching lines are permanently printed on the fabric so they cannot be washed out. Your sashiko stitching, however, should completely cover the dash lines.
This panel does not come with needle or sashiko thread. These items can be found under: SASHIKO THREAD, NEEDLES & THIMBLES
